Course Description
An MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) typically implement and manages and IT system environment of a medium to large organization, based on the Windows client and server platforms, namely Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. MCSE is designed as a mid-level certification programme that represents the job function of a network administrator. This certification programme also covers the hands-on skills required by system engineers, technical support personnel etc. Unlike MCSE, the MCSA programme does not include the system planning and designs modules as required in the MCSE programme. Completing the MCSE programme allows you to pursue the MCSE certification in future as MCSA is a subset of the MCSE programme depending on the exam modules chosen. After acquiring the MCSA credentials, you will be able to achieve the MCSE programme by taking an additional of 3 exams.

At the end of this course participants should be able to:

  • Implement, manage, and maintain the typically complex computing environment of medium- to large-sized companies.
  • Attempt the MCSA 2003 certification exam.

Pre-requisite
1. Basic computer literacy

2. Basic knowledge of PC hardware configurations


Award
At the end of the course the student will be awarded with a certificate of Attendance.
